John Scott (UEL)

 Hi I am John Scott.

I was born in Portsmouth. 

Only there for 10 years then I moved to Basildon Essex where I worked as a Printer for 17 years.

I lived there for 30 years

I felt that I needed to change my direction in my life.

So I moved to London where I followed my dreams of being an artist.

I developed my skills in Tower Hamlets College where I learned how to paint, and then studied at University of East London for 3 years, where I studied fine art.

My direction had changed; I developed into making sculpture which I love with a passion.

I love to make figurative sculptures and from time to time paint with acrylic.

I have had a commission on a sculpture that I made for University of East London, in the docklands area.

It was 7 foot across and 7 feet high and it was called cycle of live.
