My work negotiates the boundaries between man and nature, focusing on the outskirts of civilization, where the rate of manmade development is high. The images consist of photographs of these areas, which have been cut up, re-arranged and manipulated to create surreal, yet viable landscapes. The processes echoes that of the painted landscape, yet transcribes to our own physical transformation of the earth.
