1983 Born in Oslo, Norway. Resides in London. Works with photography, video, audio, installation, music and text.

In March 2008 Tovan was invited to open Goldsmiths first on-site gallery, ‘The Gallery’, with a highly controversial solo display “Man at His Toilet” and was recently music curator and performer at Tate Modern’s Tate Long Weekend “Tate Studio” event.
