Salvatore Drago
My art is not a representation of any outside inspiration, but rather comes from my soul, my sense of the moment in which I work and also is a mirror to the various problems that humanity faces due to the difficult political and sociological situations haunting the world. I tend to veer between the darker and the lighter aspects of life and represent these feelings with the medium of colours, shades and textures. All of these works have been done when I lived in Sicily and also represent my anguish towards the current problems the my country faces.
Education and Previous Projects
1993 – 1998 - Studied at Liceo Artistico in Trapani, Sicily
2000 - 2002 - Worked on the restoration of Mocarta Church in Trapani, Sicily
2002 – 2003 - Worked in GBG art Restoration laboratory, Trapani, Sicily
