I have used landscape, triangular images and everyday motifs with repetition and played on more bizarre and surreal juxtapositions. The landscapes I use have become backgrounds associated with both ambiguous and imaginary space. In this painting, I used fewer and simpler images, less narrative and less complexity. I focused on just using the composition of forms, colours and dimensions.

I have been a working artist for 20 years both here in the UK and in my native Korea. I studied art first in Korea at Chukye University of Art in Seoul before moving to London to continue my studies. I have just recently completed my Professional Doctorate in Fine Art at the University of East London.
