I enjoyed working on large scale of paintings, as it allows my arms to move freely around the paintings and gives me a sense of freedom while working on them. I like the idea that my paintings can allow the viewer to feel able to walk into them and participate the journey that creates by the prevailing rhythms.

Like memories, my paintings present traces from the past constantly overwritten by new inscriptions. Just as traces-do, journeys all exist within the present, excavated from actions past, suggesting both absence and presence that thread through a colour-field of paint. These marks and forms are events I view as journeys, random excursions decisions and hesitations, all defined as pathways released through the subconscious.
