This painting is less abstract than Pebbles and again is a work showing the feeling of the place rather than the physical place. The water washing through the pebbles on the beach, the smaller ones being rolled around.

Olivia O`Hare

My Great Uncle was a painter and I saw him work as a child, this is my first memory of the smell of Oil Paint which I love to this day. He, Reginald Turvey inspired me to paint, while painters like Manet, Bacon and Doig give the incentive to keep painting.

I studied at The University of KwaZulu Natal, Goldsmiths, London and St. Martin's College, London.

I have only recently started exhibiting again:
