My main focus on this painting was using an unusual combination of colours with lines and marks to explore light and space. To create a sense of space which move beyond recognisable representation.

Like memories, my paintings present traces from the past constantly overwritten by new inscriptions. Just as traces-do, journeys all exist within the present, excavated from actions past, suggesting both absence and presence that thread through a colour-field of paint. These marks and forms are events I view as journeys, random excursions decisions and hesitations, all defined as pathways released through the subconscious.
