Urban Snake, was created while doing a new collection of designs for my fashion agent to take over to New York. My textile designs are sold to top fashion companies in New York and sold as inspiration. The artwork was made from a snake skin, I then manipulated an image of a tree using different effects in Photoshop and printed the image onto transfer paper and transferred the image onto the snake background. The work is mounted on an A3 white card and then framed in a black aluminium frame. Dimension of artwork 21x14.5cm framed 42x29.7cm

The focus of my ideas comes from my surroundings. I use photography to capture moments in time, by using nature, architecture and everyday happenings to inspire me. I use the information from my photography to develop ideas through the use of computer manipulation, changing the original images’ size, colour and abstracting the image by using techniques which will enhance the end result, making the image bold and graphic.
