These smooth, round pebbles have come to symbolise so much in my work. Essentially I just really like pebbles, I like the way they feel in your hand and the way they shine when they are wet. They remind me of when I was a child and I stored them like treasure. I like drawing attention to objects that are seemingly insignificant and revealing their beauty.

My work is concerned with the beauty that is found in every day objects around us and specifically focusing on the pebble. I have always liked these small, smooth, round objects. As a child I collected them and stored them as treasure, always having to select a specific few as Dad would not let me take them all...
