These prints have grown out of a fascination I have with maps. For many years I have been thinking about how I can deal with this interest visually. It has always been there on the back burner influencing my work but has never found its way to being obviously the subject matter. In these prints I have used the characteristics of maps to document the memories as well as the geography of a place, thereby creating what I have called a memory map.
