Having used the facilities of double exposure on my Olympus IS-1000, I have been able to achieve some outstanding results which have opened up a new avenue for my photography. For creating such images I visualise, plan and then take my shots. The results have given me tremendous satisfaction, pleasure and pride of creating something different, something artistic. The visualation of colour complements, and placing second image objects, in the allocated space is important and requires some thought. For the first exposure or the background I usually select patterned leaves, colourful lawns or a dramatic sky. For the foregound and second image it is either a flower, a bud, a stem, a pair of flowers or even a swan in Regents Park, against a lansdcape incorporating the Telecom tower.
