After taking years out to develop her successful company Complete Fabrication, Jo Corker was enabled to return to creating and marketing her own artwork through the platform provided by Art-Switch. Shortly after Jo's work was featured on the site, Imperial Tanaka staff and students voted for artwork to be displayed in the foyer. Two of her works won the vote.
Coincidently that was the first client to have selected her work for loan and they didn't even know she was ex-Imperial herself! It was our pleasure to invite her to visit Tanaka Business School where she had received her MBA. Jo later said: “I was surprised and delighted to visit the School where I had completed my MBA to find they had chosen to hang my paintings.”
By creating additional revenues through loans and sales Art-Switch is allowing more artists - even those with a successful business career – to return to their first love. We offer a system which provides artists a level playing field - - so that getting representation isn’t just about knowing the right people. Even those that have not been exclusively pursuing their art career can see their work on prominent public display.
